Enrollment & Payment

All fees must be received by Wednesday, September 9, 2026. This season begins with the Sunday games on September 13, 2026, allowing extra time for enrollment. The opening Wednesday and Thursday games are not part of the season and may not be selected as your loser in either game.

If fees are not received before the first weekend’s games, the entry will be dropped from the pool. Please send enrollment information by email.

Electronic payment: PayPal: Bonventre@msn.com

Please do not include “Loser Pool” in the payment notes. Send payment as cash to a friend—not as a vendor—so that neither side is charged a fee.

Loser Pool — $40 per entry

  1. This pool is set up to be fun for everyone—never forget rule #1! You may have as many entries as you want in both the Loser Pool and Loser Points games.
  2. There are two brackets in the Loser Pool game: the Main Bracket and the 2nd Chance Bracket. All entries begin the season in the Main Bracket.
  3. Choose one team each week that you think will lose. If that team wins, your entry leaves the Main Bracket and drops to the 2nd Chance Bracket. If your team loses, your entry continues in its bracket and advances to the next week.
  4. You may select a team as many times as you wish. Play continues through the Super Bowl as long as more than one entry remains in the bracket.
  5. How to win: be the last entry remaining in the bracket. If multiple entries are still alive after the Super Bowl, they split the pot.
  6. The 2nd Chance Bracket is a second chance to win money. An entry cannot be part of both the Main and 2nd Chance Brackets at the same time. If the team selected in the 2nd Chance Bracket wins, that entry is out for the season.
Example: If one entry remains in the Main Bracket after Week 15, it wins the Main pot and does not drop down to the 2nd Chance Bracket—it has already won.
  7. If a game ends in a tie, entries that chose either team in that game are considered a “win” and do not advance to the next week. This is not negotiable.
  8. Picks must be received by 7:00 PM ET each Thursday. Changes are accepted if received before the stated game time of the game selected. The email time stamp determines whether a change was received on time.
  9. No Pick: If a pick is not received, the selection is listed as a no pick and the entry is considered a win. This may eliminate the entry or move it to the 2nd Chance Bracket. Submit your picks on time each week to avoid this.

Loser Points — $25 per entry

The Loser Points game is separate from the Loser Pool game. You may play the Loser Pool, Loser Points, or both—each game is completely separate.

  1. You play the entire regular season.
  2. There are no default picks.
  3. Each week, choose five teams as losers. You receive points for each correct loser and may earn bonus points.

Point scale:
